At TerraQuiet, we believe in better spaces, built responsibly.

Born in New Mexico, TerraQuiet was founded on a simple but powerful belief—building materials should work with nature, not against it. As a woman-owned company, we saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between sustainability, function, and design. We weren’t just looking for an alternative to traditional partitions; we wanted to redefine the way spaces sound, feel, and adapt—all while staying true to our values of eco-conscious innovation.

Developed by Current C Energy Systems, a company dedicated to sustainable solutions for small businesses, TerraQuiet was created to solve a real problem: how to make thermal and acoustic control both effective and environmentally responsible. Sandra McCardell, President of Current C Energy and a champion of women-led businesses and sustainable initiatives, led the charge in designing a product that’s user-friendly, aesthetic, and truly innovative.

Inspired by the rugged beauty of the Southwest, our modular walls reflect the resilience of the landscapes that shaped us. Using organic, carbon-neutral materials like hemp, TerraQuiet delivers superior acoustic and thermal performance for small businesses, architects, and sustainable builders who care about both form and function.

Backed by a Bigger Purpose.

"When we started TerraQuiet, it wasn’t just about creating an acoustic panel—it was about solving a problem we saw every day. Small businesses, studios, and community spaces needed something better: a product that worked hard, looked good, and aligned with real sustainability values. We knew if we could build it here in the U.S., using thoughtful materials and keeping costs down, we could create something that truly helped people—and the planet. That’s still what drives us every day."
